Redmi, a sub brand of Xiaomi will soon release a new flagship device. This smartphone, called the Redmi K30 Pro is set to launch at the end of March.
The Redmi K30 Pro 5G is expected to launch between the conferences for the Huawei P40 series and the Honor 30 series. The Huawei P40 series is slated to launch on the 26th of March, with the launch date of the Honor series expected around April. Xiaomi General Manager Lu Weibing has confirmed that the Redmi K30 Pro will launch at the end of March.
The Redmi K30 Pro 5G is expected to house a Snapdragon 865 SoC which supports 5G technology. The Redmi K30 Pro 5G is also rumoured to feature a quad rear camera setup, with Xiaomi opting for a 64MP main camera using the Sony IMX 686 sensor. This smartphone will feature a 32MP selfie camera that has pop up capabilities.
With a 6.6-inch AMOLED display, this high-end device ensures that you can enjoy your smartphone experience to the fullest, the screen refresh rate is still shrouded in uncertainty, as some sources point to a 90Hz refresh rate with others anticipating a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Redmi K30 Pro 5G is expected to combine 12GB RAM of the LPDDR5 type with 256GB of onboard storage and will run on Android 10 OS out of the box.
With no official word regarding the pricing of this device, the Redmi K30 Pro 5G is expected to hit Chinese markets first and then come to a number of other markets later in the future.
