If you run a website and use Google Analytics to monitor traffic trends on your site, there is now an app to help you with your monitoring on the move.
Aptly named “Google Analytics”, the mobile app let’s you see your sit e’s pageviews and user statistics, as well as real-time stats.
There are 4 panes to display all these bits of information and you can switch between them by swiping horizontally.
The first pane is titled “Real-Time” – and displays real-time info about active visitors on your site, the top active pages, and top referrals.
The second pane is titled “Dashboard” and let’s you display up to five (5) charts from a wide range of options. Charts available here include PageViews and Daily Unique Visitors, among others.
The third pane is titled “Automatic Alerts”, letting you see a number of other stats.
The fourth and last pane is for “Custom Alerts”. You have to manually set this up on the Google Analytics website.
Multiple Analytics Account
The app let’s you setup multiple Google Analytics accounts (multiple Gmail accounts), if you manage more than one.
The app is easy to setup and use too. Google Analytics for Android is an app that many webmasters will find useful.
