Samsung Announces Galaxy Z Flip 5G With Snapdragon 865+ Chipset

Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G as the 5G version of the earlier released Galaxy Z Flip. This smartphone shares a good number of similarities with the 4G version, with the major differences being an improved chipset and a higher price.

This smartphone is built around a 6.7-inch (2636×1080 pixels) folding Dynamic AMOLED display on the inside with a 1.1-inch (300×112 pixels) Super AMOLED cover display on the outside.

It has two cameras on the outside, a 12MP regular shooter assisted by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the inside, a 10MP selfie camera with autofocus takes care of selfies and video calls.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G runs the Android 10 with One UI 2.1 bringing a number of interesting features like Flex Mode which can split certain apps into two. This app will display one part on the top half of the screen with the other part in the bottom half.

This smartphone will go on sale in Mystic Grey and Mystic Bronze from the 7th of August. It is presently available for pre-orders in Germany and is priced at $1,449
