In this Samsung Galaxy A10 vs. Nokia 3.2 comparison review, we put the two budget smartphones from arch-rivals side-by-side to see who pips the other. We have handled both phones in different reviews and know what they have to offer.
Samsung Galaxy A10 2019 and Nokia 3.2 are two products that are so similar, yet so different. They almolst share the exact same screen size, similar waterdrop notch at the top of the display, same internal storage, same RAM (the lower variant of the Nokia), and similar price tags.
On the software and graphical UI side, they are quite different. The one has a rich custom user interface that changes the look and feel of Android 9 Pie completely, while the other retains the simplicity of pure Android OS. Two different approches to solving the same problem.
Both of them are targeted at the lower mid-range segment of the market – users who want an affordable smartphone with a touch of class.
Samsung Galaxy A10 vs. Nokia 3.2: Quick Specs Comparison
When you hold each of these smartphones in the hand, the nice polycarbonate finish give both of them a reassuring feel of durability and class in the sea of cheap plastic budget smartphones available in the market. Truth be told, from the design and build, both the Samsung Galaxy A10 2019 and Nokia 3.2 are like identical twins. Many of the differences can be found on the inside.
At this point, let’s have a quick look at a comparison table of the key specs and features of the two devices.
|Samsung Galaxy A10 2019||Nokia 3.2|
|6.2 inches, 720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 ratio display.||6.26 inches, 720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 ratio display|

|5MP selfie camera||5MP selfie camera|
|13 MP camera with LED flash||13 MP rear camera with LED flash|
|32 GB internal storage + dedicated microSD, up to 1TB||16 GB internal storage + dedicated microSD slot, up to 400 GB|
|2 GB RAM||2 GB RAM|
|3400 mAh battery||4000 mAh battery + 10W quick charging|
As you can see from the table abvove, the two phones are fairly evenly matched, with exceptions in terms of internal storage and battery capacity and charging. Let’s have a look at where each has an edge.
Where Samsung Galaxy A10 2019 has the edge
The Galaxy A10 2019 has twice the storage of the Nokia, though the Nokia has a 3GB/32GB variant. But that variant is in a difference price segment from what these two devices offer. The Samsung also supports much bigger memory card (up to 1TB), and has Bluetooth 5.0 against the Nokia’s version 4.2.
The Samsung has an octa-core processor, while the Nokia has a quad-core chipset, but in real use, it doesn’t offer any noticeable performance difference.
Where Nokia 3.2 has the edge
The Nokia 3.2 has the marginally bigger display (0.06″ difference), has a much bigger battery (600mAh difference), and has 10W fast charging. It also has USB On-The-Go functionaility, so you can plug in USB devices like flash drive, mouse, keyboard, etc.
With stock Android OS, the Nokia does not have an extra layer of user interface to manage, which provides a slightly smoother operation. You will also get 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security updates guaranteed. With Samsung, there is no guarantee that a budget device like the A10 2019 will see any major software updates.
Despite the Samsung A10’s more sluggish performance, Samsung and One UI lovers swear that One UI is the best Android user interface ever nand they likely won’t give it up for what they consider to be the bland look and feel of pure Android.
Samsung Galaxy A10 vs. Nokia 3.2: Who wins?
They are so similar, yet so different. It is a tough call. At the end of the day, who “wins” for you has to do with your needs and your preferences. We are inclined to give the medal to the Nokia 3.2 and declare it the winner. Feature for feature, dollar for dollar, naira for naira, it offers more benefits than the Samsung does.
Still, I’d like to hear from you: which of the two is your preferred classy, budget Android smartphone?
