The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has gotten its first software update of the year. This update shares a number of similarities with the update Samsung released for the Galaxy S10 Lite earlier this week.

The update with the February 2020 security patch brings improvements to certain features like facial recognition, camera performance and camera quality. The build number for this update is N770FXXU2ATB6.

The update was also said to bolster the performance of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s touchscreen and improve the battery charging algorithm. The update is presently available in India and Russia and is expected to come into other markets in no time.

You can install this update on your Galaxy Note 10 Lite over the air by opening your phone’s Settings app, click on Software Update, then tap Download and Install. You could also secure the updates on the Samsung firmware archive and install it on your device through a Windows PC.

Typical with most Samsung updates, Samsung does not give the specifics on how these improvements were implemented on this update, leaving users of the Samsung Note 10 Lite to figure out any differences in their device after the update.

With Samsung getting on to a strong start this year, especially relating to Software updates, it will be interesting to see what they have in store for their users for the rest of 2020.
