Galaxy S II v/s Galaxy 3D
As mentioned above, Galaxy 3D will be nothing other than a 3D version of Samsung’s market hit Galaxy S II. This South Korean company rolled out the dual core Galaxy S II in competition to Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5, and other Android devices like HTC Sensation and Motorola ATRIX. As expected by analysts, Samsung Galaxy S II became a massive hit in global markets. The company sold out more than 5 million units of Galaxy S II in just 85 days of its launch. The smartphone is yet to hit the US stores.

Galaxy S II has been remarkable for its thinnest feature. With a dimension of 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5mm, the device is known as one of thinnest smartphones ever in the market. The 4.3-inch touchscreen with the Super AMOLED plus technology and solid Gorilla Glass is another feature of the device that runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. As per rumors, Samsung Galaxy 3D is expected to come up with the same tech specs except the dual 8-megapixel cameras for 3D capturing. Of course, since it is a 3D device, there might be some additional features like an enhanced processor that can make it a competitive device in the flourishing 3D smartphone market.

Galaxy 3D possibilities

In a time that the 3D technology is spreading to smartphones from TVs and monitors, there might be a large folk of customers who will have interest in a 3D phone from Samsung rather than LG, HTC and others.

  2. Samsung Galaxy S II is a very capable phone. However there has been so many iterations of the phone. So many copies made by Samsung itself. Some with lower SPECS and others with a little jacked up Specs. At last count, I’m utterly confused with all the Galaxy versions out there. It’s very possible that when I’m ready to buy the Gslsxy brand I may make a mistake and buy the wrong versions. Smash g really needs to get it’s act straight.

In Addition there would now soon be a 3D version. I just hope the 3D Galaxy line would not have so many conflicting models too!

  3. @AFewGoodMen, like Bosun99uk said, there is a screen size for everybody. 3.5′ all the way to 10.1′ (3.5, 3.7 ,4.0, 4.3,
    5.3, 7.7, 8.9, 10.1. inches). Impressive.

    Samsung has you covered. !

  4. It is not surprising that the Samsung know_how in the television sector is bearing luxuriant foliages in the smartphone/tablet arena. Tech-INNOvation @ its best.
