Samsung launches mobile applications development contest in Nigeria

Samsung West Africa (SEWA) today makes history as they launch the Samsung Developers Contest. It is Nigeria’s first ever Mobile Applications development contest. The purpose is to help Nigeria take its place as a technology giant able to develop mobile applications that are relevant and useful within the Nigeria context.

    this is a welcome development and i hope the apps are nigeria centric and not just clones of existing app, the only issue that i see with the success here in nigeria is the still restrictive cost of internet access on phones in nigeria, but i think with the right mix i smell gold in the mobile app in nigeria market in nigeria.
