It was just a few weeks ago that we did a review of the Asus Zenfone 2. It was a great experience, a mid-range device that offers high end features. An XDA developer ycavan was able to perform wonders with this device.
Through rigorious procedures he was able to install Windows 7 on the Asus Zenfone 2 and it ran smoothly. This was not an actual installation but a form of virtualization – a process through which he claimed you can also be able to install Windows 8 and Windows 10.
The steps involved unlocking the bootloader, flashing a specific kernel, partitioning SD card and running a host of terminal commands, after which, the Windows installation will begin in a virtual machine. You can check out the full tutorial HERE.
