I am a fan of stylish tech – tech products that double as fashion items. So you will find me drooling over stylish bluetooth earrings and to smart sunshades. You have heard about the Swings Bluetooth earrings. If you are asking, “What do you mean by smart sunshades?”, hold on to your smart hat while I tell you about Snap Spectacles.
Imagine shades that capture the moment via photos and video and syncs them to your smartphone in real time! Yes; it is possible. And yes; it exists.
A few months ago, Snap, the owner of Snapchat, released the second generation of Snap Spectacles – a wearable camera that captures photos and videos. It looks like your regular sunglasses and has a wearable camera built in.
Here are its features:
- Press ‘n’ Play:
It records up to 30 secs video, all you have to do is press a button one. It records a 30 secs video when it is pressed twice.
You don’t have to worry about using it in pool parties or rainy days. It can even take a photo or video in shallow waters.
- Charge on the Go:
You can capture up to 70 videos on a single charge with the charging case.
- Smartphone Sync:
Every captured photo or recorded video syncs wirelessly with your snapchat or any social platform. Awesome right?
The first generation had a single mic to record the wearer but this new version comes with double mics that records anyone close to the wearer.
This spectacle comes in a range of colours – onyx, ruby and sapphire. The first generation of this spectacle had just coral, black and teal to its colour selection.
