In very interesting news, SOLO Phones have partnered with Airtel to put a SOLO Aspire M in the hands of consumers for just NGN 4,150 only. The first catch is that you pay that same amount monthly for another eleven (11) months after the initial payment.
So, you are paying N49,800 across 12 months. It isn’t a bad idea. The monthly fee of N4,150 gives you 1 GB Data, 60 minutes voice call to any network and 60 SMS for 30 days validity.
Are You Chosen?
The second catch is that this offer isn’t open to everyone. It is available only to pre-qualified Airtel customers. If you get an SMS from Airtel asking you to visit the nearest Airtel store or partner outlet, you are one of the Chosen. Sorry, Redeemers, Foursquarians, Catholics, Anglicans and others are not invited; only Chosen members (hey; I’m kidding!).
If you do get chosen nby Airtel, you will need to take along your International passport, drivers’ license, permanent voters’ card or National ID card, your utility bill listing your home address, and your BVN. Of course, you will need N4,150 too.
