Yes; some people turned up their noses at Nokia’s Lumia 1020 PureView and Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Zoom and Galaxy K Zoom for this monstrous contraption.
But then, it is an odd world we live in. Different strokes for different folks.

Sony released their QX10 and QX100 lenses around the same time last year, so no one thought it was something to be scoffed at. Niche maybe, but not a scoffing something.
Other lenses have been released for the iPhone before, so I guess the scoffing could be from those who thought it would never become more popular or mainstream? Or maybe some people are just noticing the hype?
Hmmmmmm, please where can I do a trade in of my Lumia 920 for a Lumia 1020?
All I want is a 1020 or a K zoom.
I need xenon on my primary camera phone.
Forget all these attachment jare.
