Just a few minutes ago, someone who “met” me just this year said the following to me over a chat session:
Since I met you, I always have this confidence that I too can be better. You give me something to look forward to.
I am so honoured to be considered an inspiration to people at any level and from any walk of life. While I feel very fulfilled doing what I do, I do not consider myself as having attained. I feel fulfilled because I have chosen to have fun doing what I love doing – enjoying the journey on the way to my goal. Life is too short to live only for the goal. Live for both the experience, the journey, and the goal all put together.
There are days that I do not feel like going on, but I go on all the same. I do not have it easy here, but I keep going on. No-one ever said it would be easy. So, if you are in a hard place right now, struggling and wondering if ever things will turn out right, perhaps this post can encourage you a bit too. Get up each morning and make that day count. At times, the load is heavy. Sometimes, the road is rough. But what do we do? We keep pressing.
2012 is over, and some of your goals are probably not accomplished yet. So what? You must understand that you are worth much more than your goals. Not having those goals accomplished yet does not diminish your worth. Keep at it. Keep going.
By all means, make sure that you have something to look forward to.
