MS says Surface Book 2 more powerful than MacBook Pro

The new Surface Book 2 is a hybrid computing device that metamorphoses between laptop, tablet, and portable studio modes. It runs Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and is equipped with 8th Generation Intel Dual-Core and Quad-Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GPUs. Microsoft says that Surface Book 2 “has up to five times the graphics performance of the original Surface Book and is twice as powerful as the new MacBook Pro”.

Microsoft is banking on the Surface Book 2 becoming the choice computing device for creative people – artists, designers, builders, as well as gamers. The new device, along with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update introduces Windows Mixed Reality experiences, long battery life, and OLED and 4K screens. Surface Book 2 is compatible with new Windows Mixed Reality headsets and motion controllers, among other accessories.

More Powerful Than MacBook Pro?

Microsoft claims that the new Surface Book packs 70% more battery life than MacBook Pro 13″ and that the Surface Book 2 13.5″ boasts a higher resolution than MacBook Pro 13″.

  1. If there product is good to be true why are they comparing it to apple why apple has never compare there product to any manufacturer so definitely apple still leads.
