If you want to take back control of your privacy, there’s a new boy in town called Blackphone. Blackphone runs PrivatOS, a heavily modified version of Android OS that the developers say does not have any of the usual compromises.
According to the team behind this project, Blackphone lets you make and receive secure phone calls; exchange secure texts; exchange and store secure files; have secure video chat; browse privately; and anonymize your activity through a VPN. Pre-ordering begins at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, Spain in February.
