  2. Am proud of tecno the spec is cool good job. Am using c8 and is very nice i can see have much experience in smart phones for now. But i want to buy j8 in Ghana how will be the price please tell tell me now so that i prepare my self.

  3. The only difference this phone has from C8 is the RAM size and 4G, the rest are similar, what’s the price in Kenyan shillings..??

  4. Please people dont buy these tecno crap at least you can buy asus zenfon 2 or u can atleast save money to buy a nexus phone. These cheap mediateck crap u will never receive os update and u will stack with what u have forever for example they failed even to update tecno c8 to mashamallow

  5. Pls what is d different btw j 8 and c8,because am using c8 and it happen I like dis j8 than c8,also what is d amount in d market am from Nigeria, lovely phone.

  6. here we go another guy that doesn’t know what his talking about, the chipset of a phone has nothing to do with the frequency of updates it receives, that depends on the phone company whether to realease an update or not but it also depends on where you live, for the record you are better off not updating your device you risk the chances of bricking it.

  7. I wonder if Techo Boom J8 would not give the same troubles as Camon C8. Techno Camon C8 came out with nice features but really sucks when making calls. Incoming calls usually terminate ongoing calls even when call waiting is activated. Developers, please try and rectify this problem.

  8. This is a really wonderful phone. I bought yesterday and I am enjoying very much. Techno keep it up

  9. I can wait to have it I was having c8 but i need j8 let me hope will not drop call like c8

  10. Tecno Boom J8 is just an amazing phone.I have had a myriad of phones in the past from Sony,Nokia,HTC,Motorolla, Samsung and non compares to J8.

The battery retains power for long hours compared to no other phone. It is equally sleek.

Good work Tecno for challenging the big boys and coming up with the the real android phone.

  11. i have one, but please try to improve internet services, and how it looks, or provide different themes

  12. Wow… What a great testimony… Kindly spread the word.. however, it is TECNO and not Techno….

  13. There are always complains with upgraded phones eg. Drains battery faster, lagged or slow, poor internet connection and many more. So why should we? What’s the need?

  14. Guys,i’m kind of confuse here, actually i intended to buy infinix note 2,but changed my mind cuz i felt tecno was more advance than infinix. So i checked online and i got the boom J8, i compared its features to that of infinix and decided to get the J8.
But with all this complain and dropping of calls,i don’t know if I should go ahead and buy the tecno. Guys help me out.

  15. It is so true I am using tech c8 at this moment it is so good in everything I like the camera more than anything I think that’s even the reason I still have it. But yes THIS PHONE DROPS CALLS IT’S SO ANNOYING TO HAVE YOUR CALLS CUT BEFORE YOU FINISH YO CONVERSATION WITH THE OTHER PERSON. Sometimes it also switches off on its own or returns to the original wall paper and ring tone without my permission. It doesn’t keep those settings I made for long. Please do confirm on these issues if they r true

  16. Hello,
I bought a phone ” techo boom J8 ” yesterday. the only problem I have is that the touch screen does not react quickly when I handle it. Sensitivity to touch is low. What to do please?

  17. Yeah u know. Something tells me to buy this phone, something also tells me not to. But i took a whole night reviewing a lot of android phones. And to tell u the true fact, the Nexus 5, 5x, and 6 are indeed the best Android phones from Google. And if u are someone who always wants updates on Android versions. Den i think u should go in for a Google Nexus phone. Honestly though Tecno phones are not Bad but u will just get stacked at one operating system.

  18. SENSITIVITY TO TOUCH IS VERY POOR. I FAIL EVEN TO WRITE SMS SOMETIMES

HOW CAN WE SOLVE THIS I REALLY REGRET TO BUY THIS KIND OF GADGET .
I WISH THEY HAVE AN UPDATE WHICH CAN SOLVE THIS.

THE SITUATION IS VERY BAD WITH THIS PHONE

  19. THE TOUCH IS VERY BAD,

I WOULD ADVICE TECNO TO CORRECT THE SITUATION ASAP. IT WILL KILL THE MARKET

  20. I purchase a Tecno Boom phone in Africa it worked well there but upon return to the United States it does not work. I have made contact with the tech people but to date have had nothing but a canned call one of two phone numbers and DO NOT WORK! I have asked for email tech support and again canned call one of two numbers. I’ve played this game for more than a week and have sent multi-pal emails with a complete LACK OF ANY REMOTE HELP I can only conclude the company cares little about the Customer after the sale. BAD BAD BAD way to do bysiness

crying. bad things in Africa. which can not work over the whole world? ?

  22. What I really love about this phone is that despite being dedicated to music lovers, it hold its ground when you talk of powerful smart phones.

  23. The phone worked well in Nigeria, but had limited use while I was in Cairo. Now in the US, the phone DOES NOT WORK! HOW CAN THAT BE??? PLS no one should buy this prone if guys at tecno can’t fix this. Why would an unlocked phone no work all over the world???

  24. The article is very funny. And you wonder why tecno isn’t doing better. How will u produce a phone and not think of it’s use in the USA, of all places. And u’re here defending tecno and asking a buyer to go do research. Lol. This has NEVER happened with any of my phones, even much older phones and even the blackberry. Well, I’ve made this purchase, but it’s the last tecno myself or anyone I know will ever buy!

  25. I don’t really think you are correct cos I am a long time Tecno user and I am still sticking with the brand.

  26. This is a really wonderful phone.
I bought yesterday and I am
enjoying very much. Techno kee it up!

  27. the only good thing about this phone is the battery life……the rest is just dissapointing…..it has a 2GB ram yet it lags so much

  28. I got mine but i was not given the boom ear piece why? it works perfectly , i love it. but please the boom ear piece how will i get mine.

  29. If I remember correctly what I was told, the Boom headsets were given out on a stock basis. I can’t be too sure now though. It seems like a long time ago.

  30. Quisiera comprar uno pero soy de Perú, hay como traerlo para aca le agradesco sus comentarios..
