MobilityArena Buyer’s Guide Verdict

We like what TECNO Mobile has pulled off with the CAMON 12 Air: a statement that says certain features do not have to be high-end phone exclusive. And by that, we are referring to the punch hole in the display, which TECNO Mobile has branded Dot-In Display.

In case you are wondering what a punch hole display is, it is a display in which the selfie camera is located a hole that is cutout in the display, instead of in a notch. If you look at the front image of the phone, you will see a hole in the top left corner of the display. That’s a punch hole or Dot-In, if we go by TECNO’s branding.

The TECNO Camon 12 Air is the brand’s first smartphone with a punch hole in the display – and it is intriguing to see it on a budget smartphone.

Besides that, the rest of the specifications appear to be decent. We believe that TECNO Mobile will make a killing from the Camon 12 Air.

Thinking of getting one? We think you should, if only for the cool factor.

Our Buyer’s Guide Verdict is recommendation that we make based on our evaluation the specs of the device. It is a general guide designed to help you understand how much value a smartphone offers for its price. It is not a stamp of quality assessment or an endorsement of the device or of the manufacturers. 1. What is punch hole display?
Competition keeps pressing phone price down.
At 6.5′ display.. That’s huge haba..
    Overall, it’s a nice..

    1. Hi Zion,

A punch hole display is a display in which the selfie camera is located a hole that is cutout in the display, instead of in a notch. If you look at the front image of the phone, you will see a hole in the top left corner of the display.

  2. The major selling point of this is the punch-hole display. Every other thing could be found in other brands as well. This, is making the whole thing – releasing new phones every now and then, a bit boring. And this is why brands like Samsung always stand out in the game. Anyway, let’s wait for the launching day sha.

  3. This is not bad, Tecno is good in making big screen phones and big batteries, these are the two selling point for them.
