TECNO seem to be off their game
the screen is passe, 1 GB RAM is passe & the SoC is passe. for a phone that’s supposed to be a photography ace it lacks the processing power & RAM to do the heavy lifting necessary for any photography magic. also what’s the point of a (supposedly) great camera if the screen can’t show the quality? they should try again & do better

I think you have a very great point. However, consider this, if most of these things you call passe are made prime, it would no longer be affordable as aimed. Maybe Tecno should try something like this though and make the price as high as the S6. e go tey for market sha, but they should try it.

true, but the folks that buy TECNO phones aren’t photography buffs, phones that are great for photography aren’t cheap. check the pricing of camera-centric smartphones

See?? You just said it, the usual Tecno market aren’t photography buffs, this to me seems like a change in strategy. I don’t know what they are up to, but I’ve my eyes on them. LOOL. When it’s finally released, I’ld like to be the ultimate judge of whether camera-centric smartphones can ever be affordable or not.

I currently use this phone… Its great especially when you using an external macroSD card to store all your files and allow only system applications to run from d phone memory.

267PPI? Nonsense!! Thanks Mobility if not for you guys I won’t know early and I’ll be hoping and waiting for this rubbish. Where Xiaomi and the likes produce FHD phones with PPI of 450 and abovE.

Are those phones in the same price category as this tecno???

Errr, is this a statement or a plea for help? *confused here*

I like the phone but the quality of pictures is not good. For instance on Facebook mmm pictures do not look well. A phone that has 13 pixels was supposed to give us quality pictures. As for video a it’s better. There is a facility on the dialling pad which shows u can record your calls but I tried to turn it on but can’t access it what is wrong

Oh33z, you are wrong about that. The Camon C8 is NOT 4G. The Camon C5 and C9 are. Cheers.

  • September 5, 2016 at 3:06 pm

I want to buy C9 but i get confusion on how to decide because also C7 got the same same features of C9 so which is which…consider the price factor.

    • September 5, 2016 at 3:30 pm

The Camon C7 has a smaller display, no glass protection on the display, smaller battery, and no 4G LTE.
