  1. Errrr, Dazall?

Lol, but seriously, this looks cool. However, I can only point out three differences from the android devices they release everyday nowadays: fingerprint, a lil upgrade to 8mp front cam from 5, and dolby. Every other thing, regular joes.

Lets see how much it costs

  2. May be it’s time to try out a tecno phone, the specs look decent on paper. The soc they used this time around is not an archaic type. 3gb ram, lte, fingerprint sensor, Dolby digital surround, 5.5″ screen and a full hd display seem the features that meet my minimum requirements for a decent smartphone

  3. Where’s the NFC and maybe OIS in the camera.

From the looks of it I’ll tag it as an upper mid ranger. So it might just be OK for that price…

    But I’ll pass.

When real OTA is implemented them I’ll consider them… Maybe

  4. It really is a pretty good phone for the price. It packs all the necessary function every top range phone should have, and I guess it does away with a lot of the unnecessary.

I’ve got a feature on my Samsung phone which makes sure my device never goes to sleep while I’m reading. I deactivated that feature the very week I purchased the device.

There are some features which are very relevant to me, that I think may be missing though, like “Screen Mirroring” to my Smart TV at home. I’ve also considered MHL connectivity to the HDMI port of my HD TV.

Does it do any of those?

  5. Can anyone tell if this new techno is truly full HD and does it has a notification light ? Apart from touch bottom light

  6. also surprising because the Phantom Z’s SoC was clocked at 2.0 GHz. also had a better camera (at least by megapixels)

  7. It’s a good one, but they would have upgraded it to be like Sony Xperia z3 with a 22 mega pixel rear camera or the Samsung Note4 with the note pen feature.
But all the same it’s a good phone with its 3GB Ram.

  8. By the way, I just saw this device at slot systems and truly, It feels premium.

I had this good feeling as I played with the phone even though I tried so hard to overlook the TECNO badge.

Apart from looking premium, It truly feels premium when you hold it.

By the way, why is slot selling theirs at 71,000 when manufacturer claims 69,999? That extra 1k is for signing D’Banj or what?

  9. Abi oooo. No mind them, they are trying to put them self on the same level with samsung and huawei phones

  10. Not bad for upper mid-range, but there’re still some things missing that makes it slighly optional. To be honest, this device will not be upgradeable to Marshmallow. Lack of Compass and Gyro sensor is minor but they proves very useful in certain circumstances. Besides these flip-flop, it still a good choice.

  11. Of course it is. It is the 2015 flagship phone from Tecno.

Usually, when a phone is a flagship, it can be likened to the ship that was used by the commanding officer in a fleet which usually was the best and most powerful and flew his flag. So extending this to the mobile phone situation a flagship phone of the company is nothing but the best phone (read most powerful) at present in its vast array of phones that is a mark of the height of the companies technology and advancement.

  12. Very good phone. Pls the screen of my own is damaged and I have combed everywhere that I know and couldn’t find it… pls if it’s available there u can call … 07067867137. Thank

  13. since like 1 year of using this phone, i always enjoy it and i must say i even discover more features in it’s specification right now, what a awesome review.
