“Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish.” – John Jakes
The level of consistency the above quote preaches would surely be one which mobile phone giant TECNO is running with. Fresh off its Camon CX Manchester City Limited edition launch mid-July, the rumour mill is at it again that a new smartphone series from the brand would be hitting the market in the coming weeks, and will be an exhibitionist smartphone targeted at capturing the middle and low-end market.
If word on the street is anything to go by, then we may well expect a surprise from Africa’s leading mobile maker, as one important takeout from the rumours has it that the device has been made with social media lovers in mind. So what exactly do social media lovers look out for in a smartphone? Music? Games? Photos? And from the spy picture we got, which is hardly visible but one could noticed a three-dotted cycle which we guess is the speaker grills, this might turn out to be pointer that the upcoming device is about entertainment. Well, we would wait and see what TECNO has in store.
At this point, there is no shared information about the specs of this anticipated device which will be vital in giving smartphone enthusiasts an impression of what is to come, especially as the mobile brand is yet to make any official statements; not even a hint on their social media pages yet. So, information as to the name of the device is still unknown also. But from another concept sent to us, we expect the device to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat, super cool design and decent battery capacity.
We however have our fingers crossed, with our eyes and ears wide open and down to the ground to pounce on whatever information spills – both reliable and from rumour mongers.
