With the kind of news we’ve been seeing on the internet, it’s quite uncertain what’s on the mind of Microsoft concerning the upgrade to Windows. First news filtered that Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users.

Then they reiterated the update will only come to those running older official Windows software. They announced again they’re reserving upgrades encouraging everyone to sign up while also stating the update will be officially available July 29th.

Just yesterday they announced that by downloading the latest Windows 10 Preview and logging into your Microsoft account (registered for the Windows Insider Program), you will be entitled to a free upgrade and ‘remain activated’. This morning, they removed the ‘remain activated’ slogan. 😆

Let’s just see how it turns out come 29th of July.
