Among a plethora of budget compact cars, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra holds it own. The SE and Limited Editions of this car have a 2.0 litre four cylinder engine that hits 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. That aside, you get to see auto emergency braking, with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection etc all as part of safety.

Coming at a base price of $ 17,150. Do you think it’s worth it?
I have been driven severally in the 2016 edition. I love the curvature and style.
This one is about $4k dollars cheaper than your Toyota Corolla which probably lacks pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection and the signature superlative and efficient air conditioning system of a Hyundai.
Yes, I would pick this over the overrated Toyota Corolla, any day….
The car in front is a Hyundai
I’ve been in love with the Elantra since the 2013 model. Especially the milky brown color. Sadly, I’ve not had the opportunity to inspect the interior closely. Like Ibukun, I would also pick an Elantra over a Toyota corolla or even a Camry (Though I may hesitate if it goes against a honda).
