We had a look at the 2015 QNX concept car, a Maserati Quattroporte GTS, recently. For those of you who have been pining for a familiar brand, we are looking at a Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG modded with QNX. What is it like? Well, for starters, being a car that was modded last year, the QNX implementation wasn’t as advanced as what we saw on the Maserati.
Features that QNX brings to this beauty include: turn-by-turn directions via HERE Maps, video feed from front and rear-view cameras, notifications of incoming phone calls, alerts of incoming text messages, as well as built-in support for Android, OpenGL ES, and HTML5. It also helps you monitor the car’s health, including keep an eye on tyre pressure. That last one is certainly something to have in a smart car.
Here are shots of the interior.
For Mercedes lovers, the smart CLA45 AMG.
