Did you know that Chrome mobile browser has a feature that helps you save data? The browser has the capability to compress browsing data pretty much like Opera Mini browser does.
The screenshot above gives you a good idea of how much data you can save by using the Data Saver feature. 32% savings is significant. Add it all up over a month or a year and you will be amazed at how much savings you have made. The figures above are for a few days of usage here on my smartphone.
Of course, the savings for you will vary from mine depending on your browsing habits.
To enable this feature and start saving, launch Chrome browser on your Android smartphone, go to the Settings menu, scroll down and select “Data Saver”. Then toggle the switch.
