Tigo Rwanda partners iROKOtv to offer subscription-based entertainment content to the network’s 4G LTE service subscribers.
Tigo Rwanda has announced a partnership with iROKOtv to provide subscription-based video entertainment for its 4G LTE subscribers. iROKOtv’s video-on-demand service will provide Tigo 4G users with unlimited access to over 4,000 movies and TV series from around the world. The customer bears only the cost of data for watching movies and videos.
4G service was officially launched 4Q 2014 on Tigo Rwanda, offering homes and businesses high-speed internet access. However, high cost of acquisition of devices means that uptake has been limited.
