Twitter Bookmarks is a new feature that allows you to save any tweet that you want, and come back to it whenever you want. This is different from the Like feature because your Bookmarks are private and can be accessed by only you.
So, if you run into something intriguing while scrolling through your Timeline, or something funny, or anything you would love to be able to come back to read at your convenience, you can use Twitter Bookmarks. It works similar to the way your browser bookmarks work.
How To Use Twitter Bookmarks
Here is how to go about using the Bookmarks feature:
- Tap the share icon under the Tweet and select, “Add Tweet to Bookmarks”.
- To access it later, tap “Bookmarks” from your profile icon menu.
- You can add and remove Tweets from your Bookmarks at any time.
Twitter Bookmarks is available to the Twitter mobile apps for iOS and Android, Twitter Lite, as well as mobile.twitter.com. It isn’t available on the desktop web interface yet and there is no word of if or when it will be. So, for now, it is a mobile-only feature.
Twitter Lite is an app for users on slow connections, which is what mobile.twitter.com also addresses. The latter is a web-based mobile version of Twitter.
