From the beginning, Android versions are named with desserts and sugary sweets. Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow etc, go down the long list of foods named after the popular operating system. Going by the yearly routine, we should expect to see another Android version this year- starting with the letter “O”. Will it be Android Oreo?

The cookie above is Oreo. Will the next version be Android Oreo? Take this speculations with a pinch of salt. Don’t be surprised to see a different name unveiled later this year. The name Android Oreo doesn’t sound bad after all. We hope Google gets to fix the resource hogs accompanied with the latest Android versions.
