The recently announced Windows 10 have gradually gained momentum, and since it’s official launch people are installing it on their devices, and numbers are getting higher by the day.

Yesterday, Corporate Vice President, Windows and Devices Group at Microsoft, Yusuf Mehdi announced the official numbers. In a tweet, (see below) he said Windows 10 is now installed in over 75 million devices.

This is good numbers remembering that Windows 10 came less than a month ago. Have you installed Windows 10 yet? What has been your experience so far?

  1. Running Windows 10 on my 4 year old pc and its doing great. It’s combines the strengths of Windows 7 & 8 into a unified experience.

  2. Sadly i’ve been unable to upgrade to windows 10, since my version of windows 7 is not genuine. Hope to buy a genuine key soon so as to upgrade and enjoy the full benefits of windows 10.

  3. Similar to Biola, I’ve installed Windows 10 on my 5 year old laptop. As I hadn’t used it yet, I asked someone if anything has changed and they said no.

But then I finally got around to using it and the look alone sets it apart from Windows 8. I still have access to all of my Windows 8 apps and I don’t have to change screens as I did before.

I could have skipped Windows 8 but I did enjoy the joined up experience of that and Windows Phone 8.
