Windows 10 is now installed on more than 200 million devices

Not so long after the launch of Windows 10, we reported that the OS has hit 75 million users. The new software is attracting more numbers, as new reports states that Windows 10 is now installed on over 200 million devices. The news was confirmed in an official blog post.

The report also contains other highlights of the successes of Windows 10 so far:

  • The new OS has the fastest growth trajectory of any version of Windows – ever – outpacing Windows 7 by nearly 140% and Windows 8 by nearly 400%.
  • It has the highest engagement on Windows ever, with Over 11 Billion Hours on Windows 10 in December.
  • More than 76% of enterprise customers are already on Windows 10, and over 22 million devices running Windows 10 are enterprise and education customers.

Aside Windows 10, the Windows Store has seen two times the number of revenue from PC and tablet users this holiday season. Also the Store has received many new “paying” users – surpassing that of Windows 8. Good times for Microsoft.
