Whenever I get a review phone, I make sure that a lot of people get to see it with me. The idea is to gauge their reactions to it. After all, part of my job is to explore what people like and do not like. Anyway, I have carried the Galaxy K zoom around with me, and my observation is that of the people who have seen the K zoom with me, it is the women who have been more excited about it than men. They actually like it.
That is surprising to me. The K zoom is a bit chunky because of its extendable camera lens. Women tend to have smaller hands, yet they are the ones who want to handle it more. They are also the ones who ask after it. Just today, a female friend asked me if I still have it with me. I replied that I did and asked why she wanted to know. She replied that she just remembered it and thought to ask. When I suggested that it seems that she likes the phone, she replied categorically that she did.
Odd too how it was women who ooh-ed and aah-ed over the huge 6-inch Nokia Lumia 1520.
