The Chinese are relentless in their pursuit of making smartphones as affordable as possible. Many thanks to Mediatek for providing the chips pushing the trend. Not only are these phones cheap, they pack so many features, it’s not surprising to ask, “How come?”

The Bluboo X fire 2 is one of such devices. Officially priced at $60 dollars, that’s about N12,000, you’re getting the following cool features:

  • Full Metal Body
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • 5 inch 720 p screen
  • Android 5.0 Lollipop
  • Quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek chip
  • 8 MP/5 MP camera combination with LED flash front and back.

I can imagine people already gloating to buy this device. The part you might dislike is that the phone has just 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The battery capacity is also a meager 2150 mAh and there’s no 4G – still not bad for that price though. Gearbest sells the dual SIM variant of the phone for about $74. If you had the chance, would you bite?

  1. would make sense as a work only device, certainly isn’t powerful enough as a daily driver for a power user

  2. These guys are really serious about taking over the world…world powerism here?!

Now, they are having high figures in football transfer activity. Just wondering, may be I should go learn some Chinese.
