We’re beginning to see more phones that can serve as power banks. Our first experience of USB – OTG charging was with the Gionee M2 with it’s 4200 mAh battery. The Chinese are making even better devices with the ability to charge other devices through USB On-the-go cables.
The Oukitel K6000 is a phone with a huge 6000 mAh battery. As the case with “huge battery” phones, this device can charge other devices through a USB OTG cable – The phone literally serves as a power bank. Oukitel demonstrated this phone charging four other familiar flagship phones simultaneously.
This phone has a 5.5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. Running a quad-core 1.0 GHz MediaTek MT6735P processor. It has 2GB of RAM, with 16GB of expandable internal storage. The price is reportedly $140. Meanwhile watch this phone charge 4 other phones in the video below:

This is really interesting. What’s more fascinating is that, the phone would only sell for just $140?!
I can imagine what the price would be if it we’re an Apple product.
Sadly true… Apple overprice get away with it nature
But the oukitel instills no confidence.. But great innovation (from China), thank you gionee the pace/trend setters
*The name oukitel
And when and where is this brand hitting Nigeria? I doubt it would even make it to the shore. Even Xaiomi and Doggee ain’t on ground yet. Only God knows why
At that price the only thing its got going for it is the battery size, that apart there are much better phones at the same price range..
With the exception of the processor and maybe weight, i don’t think its a a bad buy
Sad part of living in a 3rd world
Quick question; is the otg full or jes for charging?
Thanks for the post ! it is so good !
