Apple has recently updated its App Store, with a new dark mode support now available for iPad and iPhones, allowing users search for apps through a black user interface.
The latest version 5.8 of the Apple Store app continues Dark Mode integration across its first-party app offerings. The Dark Mode switches bright screen elements for darker alternatives, helping to ease eye strain especially in periods of reduced natural lighting.
This operating mode is unlike any simple color inversion configuration, effectively altering text and other graphical assets from black to white while retaining the color in images. Apple’s Store app also provides users with a direct online portal to the company’s digital storefront with customized purchasing recommendations, product specifications and information, repair options and more, acting as a one-stop shop for every and anything Apple Store.
This update also brings other changes aside the new Dark Mode, with the regular performance enhancements and bug fixes made on the app to improve overall performance and enhance app user experience. This update arrives just after the tech company revamped and redesigned the Apple Support app with Dark Mode last month.
You can get the latest instalment of the Store app on the App store at no extra cost for your iPhones and iPads.
