Samsung has quietly unveiled the dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy A01 Core as an entry-level smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core, launched in Indonesia, is an affordable device that offers HD display, a single rear camera and runs Android 10 (Go Edition).
This device is built around a 5.3-inch HD+ (720×1480 pixels) TFT LCD. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 quad-core SoC and has 1GB of RAM in tandem with 16/32GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD to 512GB.
In the camera department, an 8MP single rear camera with auto focus support and digital zoom up to 4× handles rear photography business. Up front, a 5MP shooter takes care of selfies and video calls.
A 3,000mAh battery keeps this device running, offering around 17 hours of 4G talk time and 14 hours of LTE or Wi-Fi internet usage.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core is available in black, blue and red colours and is priced at $74. However, as part of a flash sale, it is currently selling for $67 until the 23rd of July 2020.
