The biggest upgrade it brings is the 1080p screen, a great leap from the 720p screen in the Galaxy A04s. The display is also bigger (6.7 inches up from 6.5 inches), which is something that most people want.
On the inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, which is more capable than what the Galaxy A04s has. The other upgrades are in the selfie camera (now a 13 MP shooter from 5 MP) and fast charge speed (a decent 25W standard up from 15W in its predecessor).
In terms of memory options, it does not offer as many variants as the A04s which had up to four. The Galaxy A05s has only two variants – 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
On the whole, Samsung Galaxy A05s is a significant upgrade over its predecessor. If you are looking to upgrade this year, it sounds like a good deal to us. Do note that its launch price is also a bit higher than the launch price of the A04s the year before.
