The Samsung Galaxy A51 has begun to receive certain camera features that were expected to be included in the previous One UI 2.1 update. Some of these features which include Single Take, Night hyperlapse and My filters have started rolling out to the Galaxy A51 in firmware version A515FXXU3BTF4 in Malaysia.

The update also brings the June 2020 security patch along with the three new camera updates. The Single Take mode lets users capture videos and photos for 10 seconds while the My filter mode allows users add different filters on their photos. The Night hyperlapse is useful for low light videos on the Samsung Galaxy A51.

The A515FXXU3BTF4 update is not particularly heavy at 336MB and brings the June 1, 2020 security patch. You can check to see if you have received this update over-the-air by going to Settings and then clicking Software Update. As at the time of this report, the update has rolled out in Malaysia but it is not yet certain what other regions will receive this update next.
