Sony has released a new variant of the Xperia 1 II in Japan. This new model brings a frosted black colour shade to the party with 12GB of RAM. This smartphone shares the same specifications as the original Xperia 1 II (bar the increased RAM space).
This device features triple 12MP cameras, a 4,000mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset under the hood. This limited-edition device may offer White and Purple colour options later on.
Sources suggest that this new variant from Sony is expected to go on sale from the 30th of October, with Japan being the only country where this device would be sold for the time being. The Xperia 1 II is priced at $1170 or 124,000 yen.
The original Sony Xperia 1 II, released in May, offers great efficiency with a wonderful design. You can find out more about this device in this article on the best Sony phones of 2020.
The technology company will also release dual-SIM and SIM-free versions of the Xperia 1 and Xperia 5, with these models expected to ship on the 28th of August.
