  1. Dear Mr.Mo I have an umidigi a3 pro with global bands, but I don’t get glo 4G even though the phone supports band 28 what could be the cause.
    I have also gotten a 4G sim.

  2. Hi Ayo,

This is a fairly coomon problem where phones that are listed as supporting LTE band 28 do not connect to a Glo 4G SIM inserted.

A friend of mine had the same problem recently and solved it. Here is how he says he solved:

Insert your Glo 4G SIM into your device and do this: Go to settings, SIM card and mobile networks, under SIM card settings select your Glo line, under mobile networks switch off automatic network discovery. Search manually for available networks. If Glo 4G is available at your location, select it and restart your device.

Let me know how it goes.

  3. I’m so greatful for your reply. I tried , I get a GLO 4G network but when I switch to it, it still just shows 3G.

  4. Now, that is odd. In my experience, it suggests there is a problem with your SIM card’s provisioning. You might need to visit a GloWorld Centre to have it resolved.
