The Vivo V20 (2021) has been spotted on Geekbench, with a number of interesting specs and rather questionable features. This smartphone is expected to bear 8GB of RAM and may have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC under the hood.
Some other features expected with the Vivo V20 (2021) include a full-HD+ display and the Android 11 OS taking care of things on the software front.
The Vivo V20 (2021) is seen by some as an upgrade on the V20 which launched in October this year. The original Vivo V20 featured a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED display. Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon 720G SoC, which performs better than the Snapdragon 675, so it is a bit surprising to see tips associating the 2021 version with an inferior chipset.
The Vivo V20 launched with a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 33W. It also has three rear cameras with a 64MP primary sensor flanked by an 8MP secondary sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor.
However, the Vivo V20 SE which launched in September seems to share more features with this device and has the Snapdragon 665 SoC under the hood, making it the logical predecessor to this “new device”.
As at the time of this report, the company is yet to make any official announcement about a follow-up device for the original Vivo V20 so we are still keeping our fingers crossed about this device. But you can always trust us to keep you updated with more tips and leaks about this device in the coming days.
