Samsung has launched a new mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy M31, in India. This device comes as a sequel to the Galaxy M30 series released in 2019. This new device is expected to compete against a number of other mid-range devices in the market.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 comes with a 64MP quad camera setup, with an 8MP Ultra Wide camera and 5MP depth and macro cameras. With a selfie camera boasting a lens of 32MP, Samsung has also attached a dedicated night mode feature to the camera. The Samsung Galaxy M31 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is powered by the Exynos 9611 octa-core chipset and boasts a 6GB RAM with an onboard storage ranging between 64/128GB, this storage can be expanded to take as much as 512GB.
Another interesting feature that will turn on a lot of Samsung lovers is the battery capacity, this device is rated at an unbelievable 6,000mAh, making the device easily last for as long as two days of usage. The device can last for up to 21 hours for internet use, 26 hours when in use for video playback, 48 hours for calls and up to 119 hours for music playback.
This device comes in different prices dependent on the variant purchased, with the 64GB variant going for $208 and the 128GB variant just a couple of dollars costlier at $222. The phone is set to be available for purchase in India from next month and is expected to come in two colour shades, Space Black and Ocean Blue.
