Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ are reportedly getting the August 2020 Android security update. This update is seeing a staged roll-out, as only a number of users in Germany have access to the update at the time of this report.
This new software update has the version numbers N975FXXS6CTGA/N975FOXM6CTGA. The changelog does not make any mention of new features or bug fixes coming with this update, meaning that users should only expect the updated security patch.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ devices will receive a notification concerning the update. It is expected to weigh around 169MB and you can check it out manually by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. As earlier stated, this update is not yet available to users in other regions, but it is expected to get to these regions in the coming weeks.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series was launched last year and is expected to be replaced by the Galaxy Note 20 series which is expected to launch on the 5th of August at the Galaxy 2020 Unpacked Event.
