Posted by I was talking with some groups of youths about a week ago about the evolution and development of mobile technologies. Immediately I mentioned “Android”, I noticed some reactions. “Which one be android again o?”, “and what?” I was surprised because I assumed they’ll all have heard of Android. To convince them that an OS of such exists, I had to power on my tablet and show them “Device Info” section.
This is what motivated this post. To make it simple, below is an image I came across sometimes ago from x-cube labs. It gives a brief and easy to understand overview of the evolution of the Android OS at least for information purpose.
