Guess who has been excited about the iPhone 13 series. Me!! And with each bit of news revealed, I just get more excited. The latest is that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will sport 120Hz refresh rate screens.
What of the vanilla iPhone 13 and the mini? Unfortunately, if leaked info is to go by, these two models will come with old-school 60Hz displays.
The vanilla iPhone 13 and the 13 mini will feature an LTPS, developed by Apple and already in use in older iPhone models.
Apple iPhone 13 Series specs and features
The iPhone 13 mini will sport a 5.4-inch display. The vanilla iPhone 13 and 13 Pro will have 6.1-inch screens, while the 13 Pro Max will sport a 6.7-inch display. The displays are being manufactured by Samsung. They will also have a smaller notch than previous iPhone models have. iPhones have had a reputation for having wide notches.
All the four iPhone 13 models come triple cameras at the back. Their main cameras will all have a 7P lens (seven glass elements) for better image capture quality. The rear camera setup will include a new ultrawide camera.
All of them have 5G support, delivered by the Qualcomm X60M 5G modem. According to leaked info, you can also expect bigger batteries in all the different iPhone models.
What of price? There is no available information yet about expected prices of these upcoming iPhones.
As new information becomes available, I will update this page to bring it up-to-date. It looks like exciting times ahead, and I cannot wait for the official announcement and for when this year’s iPhones will hit the shops and streets.
We have seen Android manufacturers announce and release several models this year already. These include: Samsung A32, Samsung A52, Samsung A72, Samsung S21 series, TECNO Spark 7P, and Infinix Hot 10T, among others. The iPhone 13 series will be a lovely addition to the list of latest 2021 smartphones.
