Building apps is now easier with the new Android Studio 2.0

Google has just released an updated version of their Android Development tool – Android Studio. The tool is used to build Android apps the Android platform, covering phones, tablets, Android Auto, Android Wear, and Android TV. This new and stable version of Android Studio has the following new features:


  • Instant Run  allows yo to make changes and see them appear live in your running app.
  • Android Emulator  is 3x faster with ADB enhancements to push data 10x faster to the emulator than to a physical device. The official Android emulator also includes Google Play Services built-in, for testing out more API functionality.
  • Cloud Test Lab Integration – for testing out a wide range of  physical Android devices in the Cloud Test Lab right from within Android Studio.
  • App Indexing Code Generation & Test – To help promote the visibility your app in Google Search for your users.
