CES 2015: LG launches the G Flex 2

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is an annual event that takes place in Las Vegas. It’s an avenue for innovators to show case their new technology to the market place, as a result, many new technology has been unveiled in CES events.

CES 2015 officially kicked off a some hours ago- probably out of excitement- some firms have already begun releasing and announcing their new toys.

Of the phones so far launched at this year’s CES, the curved LG G Flex 2 is one remarkable innovation.

It’s a big improvement to its predecessor the LG G Flex. The new boy is more curved, more powerful, heals a lot faster, and all round better.

This one features a 1080p display as against the 720p of its predecessor. The back is made up of a self healing material that can heal back to normal state given just 3 minutes in room temperature. The body is a combination of multiple curves on the top and bottom parts of the device.

The screen is an LG-developed glass cover said to be 20% more durable than Gorilla Glass 3. Running the latest Snapdragon 810 processor, the phone ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop, 2GB of RAM, and comes in 16GB and 32GB variants.

The back camera is 13MP shooter with dual-LED flash, while the front features a 2.1MP camera.
