Samsung have just announced the largest micro SD card yet – Say hello to the EVO Plus 256GB microSD card. This memory card is said to offer fast speeds and an expanded memory storage, for use in premium smartphones and tablets. Based on the new V-NAND technology, this memory card has write speeds of up to 95MB/s and 90MB/s respectively.
This can allow users store loads of high resolution pictures and videos; 4K UHD video, Full HD video, virtual reality (VR), and other graphic intensive multimedia.

“With the upward trend of consumers using high-performance, high-capacity mobile devices, our new, V-NAND-based 256GB microSD card solution allows us to deliver the memory card consumers have been craving,”

The memory cards will be available starting June 2016 in more than 50 countries worldwide, and for the price of $250. There’s also a whooping 10-year warranty attached to the device.
