Mobile World Congress 2015 has come and gone. One bit of news that didn’t quite make a lot of waves was the announcement of Alcatel’s Hero 2+ which will run Cyanogen OS 11 (based on Android 4.4.4). The Hero 2+ is a 6-inch 1080p display phablet with a built-in stylus with optimized handwriting recognition, and is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor. It features 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and a microSD slot.
It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing unit. The Hero 2+ is only 7.9mm thick and packs a 3100mAh battery.
The Alcatel One Touch Hero 2+ will cost $299 and will first launch in North America unlocked in Q2 2015.
Sounds great.
looks good, but I’m surprised there’s no stable Lollipop based CM version yet
nice spec makeup… but what’s $299 in naira gonna be now
Nice combination of high- and mid-range specs for a (somewhat) mid-range price.
