If you have been excited about Nokia’s announced return to the smartphone market and about the brand’s upcoming Android smartphones, you may need to take a chill pill for a while. Those Nokia Android phones will not be available till January 2017 at the earliest.

President of the joint management team at Nokia China, Mike Wang, has said that 3 or 4 Nokia devices will be announced in the fourth quarter of 2016. Those devices will not likely hit the market till 2017.
The Long Wait
Five months wait in the world of mobile is a long one. We can only hope that this long wait is due to initial take-off challenges and that the new Nokia Mobile business won’t be foot-dragging product releases.
