As fate would have it, I was able to spend quite sometime with this device yesterday, that’s how I gleaned the specs 😀 – See the full spec sheet HERE.
Before going into further details, you should take note of this :The Infinix Note 2 will be released in 2 variants.
- The LTE version with 2 GB RAM, and
- The regular 3G version with 1.5 GB RAM.
The unit I played with was the former.
This phone is huge. The 6 inches was quite big for my small hands. Good enough, I love the design. See the sides: the bezels there are very tiny. Sweet. The display is very sharp, and color reproduction is really good. The big display was really lovely. Gamers will have a swell time with this.
The phone itself isn’t so thick. You can see for yourself. The power and volume buttons lie on the right hand side. The back cover can be opened, though the battery is non-removable. The back cover here had many scratches, though this isn’t what the final version will come with.
The Infinix Note 2 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, based on Infinix XUI. We can expect more details during the launch of this phone, coming up on the 27th of this month.
