Introducing Huawei Mate 20 X, the 7.2-inch Samsung Note 9 killer

The Huawei Mate 20 X is a 7.2-inch giant that makes the Samsung Note 9 look like a child. It supports HUAWEI M-Pen, an intelligent stylus accessory.

I started taking a special liking to Huawei from the very time they released their Freebuds Pro. I have come to know them to always have surprises up their sleeves, so I can say I was not surprised to find out that while fans attended to witness the official launch of their Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, there was another device waiting in the wings.

And so it was that the company announced the largest gaming device – Huawei Mate 20 X or how I have decided to call it “Huawei X”. Surely, we cannot call the Mate 20 X a phone. 7-inch devices are tablets; aren’t they?

With a huge display screen of 7.2-inch OLED display, a compatible stylus, and a whooping battery capacity of 5, 000 mAH, Huawei Mate 20 X stands out in every possible way. It is also equipped with 6GB RAM, internal storage of 128GB, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.

Game On!

Huawei Mate 20 X could be the perfect gaming phone as it has built in what Huawei calls “graphene film cooling technology”. This conducts heat away fast and keeps the device cool in case of large game APKs and heavy loads.

Are you into gaming smartphones? Then keep your eyes glued to this one because this was specifically made for gaming purposes. There will be a game-pad that attaches to the left-hand side of the handset, complete with an analog stick and a D-pad.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 has reasons to be afraid. It no longer occupies its prestigious segment alone. The Mate 20 X looks like it will give it a solid run for its money. It sure looks like a Samsung Note 9 killer.

Speaking about money, the price of the Huawei Mate 20 X has been pegged at €899.
