Infinix Note 4 Oreo Update is rolling out globally; Here is how to get it

Posted by

There are user reports that Infinix Note 4 is now receiving Android 8 Oreo. Just about 1% of Android smartphones run Oreo. There are reports of the Infinix Note 4 Oreo update filtering in from users in Nigeria, Kenya and India.

That isn’t shabby at all. Not a lot of Android smartphones launched with older software have gotten the update.

How To Check For The Infinix Note 4 Oreo Update

The update for the Note 4 is said to be available OTA (Over-The-Air). This means that it will be downloaded to your Infinix phone directly. If you own a Note 4 and are yet to be prompted for the update, you can manually check for it by diving into your phone settings -> About Phone -> Check for latest update.

Be sure to have lots of data or be connected to a WiFi hotspot for the download, as a major software update of this sort tends to be large and will easily burn smaller data plans.

Infinix Note 4 was launched in July 2017 with Android 7 Nougat. You can check out the specs HERE and our review HERE.
